Visit to Balgram Orphanage

On November 5, 2018, members of Kulachi Interact Club, went to Balgram Orphanage, Sonipat. There we met children of different age groups and gifted them new stationary materials, toiletries, and other items they may require in their daily lives .When members of our club interacted with them, we could see the joy on their faces .We spent quality time and our hearts melted when we saw how parents abandoned those children but how the orphanage mothers took them in their care and loved them as their own. Members of our club danced and sang and enjoyed with the kids and we all had the time of our lives. Many of us were quite emotional as we were departing. We all saw how they dwelled and  how they cared about each other and were loved by each other. It surprised us all when we saw young girls managing whole households. Children there were taught to be responsible and caring. For all us interactors, this was a once in a lifetime experience, it left us all in awe and sensitized us, taught us, about the cruelties of the world and how they can be dealt with. We wholeheartedly thank our teachers incharges for making this happen.

International Peace Day Conference

On 21st September, a video conference was held with the children of Philippines and Pakistan on peace. Students laid many interesting points on what they meant by peace, how it affected their lives, and what they learned by famous personalities who ensured peace. Everyone interacted with each other with enthusiasm. All sides learnt different things about each other's culture. All in all, the conference was a huge success and taught us many important things. It enhanced our speaking and interactive skills and was a great experience.
