Talking about the competition, students from different schools participated with remarkable enthusiasm, spirit and enterprise. A total of 25 prestigious schools of Delhi participated amongst whom 10 got qualified for the final level.
The topic for the final level was “We have sold off our heritage for a pair of blue jeans.”
All the participants were given a preparation time of 20 minutes and hence, they all presented and defended their points of view with great zest and devotion.
While the eminent judges made their decision, students of the club performed a dance drama on “Addiction toward Liquor”. The cultural programme also included recitation of poems “The lady of shallot” and “Liquor a threat” by the interacts only. Ayush and Ashutosh also presented their talent in the field of music.

The Brochure Anubhuti was also released by honourable guests and dignitaries of the school, highlighting the activities of the club which it undertook throughout the past year. Mr. Sanjeev Narayan also garnished the event by his worthy words.
The event marked an enticing and gruelling verbal duel, where the listeners were mesmerized by the oratory, vigour and gusto of the young debaters who in all zeal and enthusiasm and amidst, roaring cheers from the crowd, vied for the coveted position and the cash prize. Since it was a contest of wits, ideas and expression, it was only the best three amongst all who therefore were rewarded with the individual trophy and a price money. Hence, the rolling trophy embellished the shelves of the school DAV Vasant Kunj.
