The reality is that blind people need not suffer but they are compelled to live in those ignominious darkness by poverty and helplessness. Most people’s sight could be restored with a simple, safe, and inexpensive operation. Just a simple provision of glasses which they cannot afford can make their life easy.
An eye camp is a means to provide operations, medication, glasses, Educational Kits, and other treatments to unprivileged people. Rotary 3011 organized Free eye camps and free spectacles for school children.
This program had been developed by Vision Springs in collaboration with Rotary India Literacy Mission in order to create everlasting changes in society, for people to realize the urge and educate them about the importance of eye camps.
District Governor Rtn. Anup Mittal had invited clubs of district 3011 to organize an avail of eye check- Up Camps and free spectacles for the underprivileged children in all adopted schools. This program was held between 1st October and 31st December 2021.
